In 2008, Hidea's first outboard motor was born.

In 2012, Hidea established its Sanmen Parts Factory.

In 2014, Hidea held the opening ceremony for its Linping factory.

In 2016, Hidea laid the foundation for an intelligent manufacturing base with an annual capacity of 100,000 outboard motors. That same year, its outboard motors passed the type certification of the China Classification Society (CCS).

In 2018, Hidea held its 10th-anniversary celebration and the Global Outboard Motor Summit Forum. The company also received the Advanced Enterprise Award for Intelligent Manufacturing Standards in Zhejiang Province that year.

In 2020, Hidea initiated and participated in drafting the general technical standards for China’s outboard motor industry. Also in 2020, Zhejiang Hidea Power Outboard Motor Research Institute was accredited as a Provincial Enterprise Research Institute, and Hidea obtained the GJB9001C-2017 certification for weapon and equipment quality management systems.

In 2023, the "HIDEA" brand was recognized as a "Zhejiang Export Famous Brand" by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce. Hidea was also designated as a national-level "Little Giant" enterprise under the Specialized and New Enterprises program.

In 2025, the second Hangzhou Hidea Power Outboard Motor Global Summit Forum was successfully held. During the event, the ceremony for the 500,000th outboard motor rolling off the production line took place, along with the “Haide Enjoyment Day: Ride Across Qing Shan Lake” test-drive and experience activity.
